::.The Mani
The central of the three peninsula
in south Peloponese is the place
that for the last 1100 years people call Maini, Rocks of Mani or
Mani. The peninsula is formed by the mountain chain of Taygetos,
the end of Pindos. The southern end, the wild rock Tenaro, goes
into the pass between the Ionio and Aegean open sea, in the same
geographical width as Sikelia and Gibraltar.
